The air traffic control tower at McCarran Airport replaced a 200 foot outdated control tower. The new tower is taller – 352 feet instead of the previous 200 feet – and provides a clean view of the area around the airport, as well as 14-foot-tall windows without support beams getting in the way. At a cost of $99 million, the new tower is one of the tallest in the nation.
